Hi -
I found your website and wanted to share with you how much a dog that
I bought from you in 1989 changed my life and my daughters life. I
was visiting in Dallas, TX and saw a newspaper ad for your Border
Collies. My then 3 year old daughter Kate and I drove out to your
house and bought a red tri pup that we named Dallas who changed by
life forever. Dallas was a wonderful dog and went on to become a
United States Dog Agility Association "Agility Dog Champion" as well
as winning the USDAA National Championships and AKC National
Championships and being a finalist at the National Championships many
times. She was also named to numerous USDAA World Agility Teams and
we competed in Spain, Austria and Belgium and on the AKC World Agility
Team we competed in Switzerland.
I was always interested in dogs and horses and dog agility was a
natural progression. I started Dallas in agility when agility was
just beginning in the USA and she was a star. I opened my own agility
training business, Contact Point Agility in 1992 and have been
breeding Contact Point Border Collies for 10 years.
You can see Dallas' memorial page http://dogagility.net/dallas.html.
daughter Kate has been doing agility since she was 5 and is a 2x
National Agility Champion with 2 dogs that we've bred and has also
competed for the USA in Belgium and The Netherlands. She is a
professional agility trainer and her web site is www.drivendogs.com .
I have contacted you in the past but Kate found your web site today
and I wanted to reiterate what a great dog Dallas was. She's been
gone for 9 years and I still miss her.
